The Oscar Fever
Less than 2 weeks to the biggest film awards, it's gonna be so exciting with James Franco and Anne Hatheway hosting.
Still contemplating if I should catch True Grit and Winter's Bone.
Meanwhile, these are the movies I have catched lately:
How do you make a movie out of a guy who struggles in the last apparent 127 hours of his life? Making that possible in itself is a feat for Director Danny Boyle. I must admit the film gets a little stagnant at some points, afterall this is a one-man show by James Franco whom I feel is fairly competant in his portrayal. It feels like a documentary for the most part of it and certainly not for the faint hearted who cringes at the sight of blood.

I certainly do not quite understand the whole loads of accolades for The King's Speech. It is a not bad movie but there are certainly better films (like Inception), I think? I just feel that it is overrated apart from the strong performance from its cast. And Colin Firth is much better in A Single Man as compared to this. It does feel a little draggy at certain points as well.Popcorn: 3.5/5
