All Familiar

I haven seen my JC mates for sooo long. So I was really happy to meet them on friday nite! But I was late cos of ABCC meeting in school and I only reached Clarke Quay around 10pm. Anyway really glad to see Sharon also cos its the 1st time she joined us for gathering since we left JC 5 years ago. The most freaky part is that she looks perpetually the same as in JC!

The coffe club in clarke quay sux ! Dun ever go there becos of the poorrr service! They take 10 years to serve the ice water and the bill despite repeated requests. But we were too engrosses taking pics the nite. Feels like we haven met for 10 years.

WAKEboardingggg

Yes I did it last week! My Virgin WB experience at SAF Yacht Club. Thanks to Verene for inviting me umpteen times since last sem and I only got to try it last week! Anyway despite having slept a few hrs the night before, I had to drag my lazy ass up at 7am to go for the morning WB session. It's in a damnnn ulu part of SG where we can overlook JB. I was damnnnn shag that day, so it was a feeling of tiredness more than excitedness or any other emotions.

Before getting on our private boat~ My Boat members~
It is coincidental that WB captain is Eugene, my BMT platoon mate.

Verene lookss cute in her plaster~
Bleh~
I was the only guy among the freshies in WB and I cowardly volunteered to be the last to try. Each of us has 30min of WB time, which is seriously MORE than enuff.

Down I go! And my 1st attempt at getting up~ LOL
Eventually I stand up to my feet! It's damn hard lah, no doubt it looks damn easy but u need so much technique jus to GET up, and we r not talking about balancing yet.

Getting steadierrr~
After 25 min. The most strenous part is on the back and legss. At some point I just felt like letting go...
With Nathasha~
With Diana~
I like the experience! No doubt it was tiring and I was tired the whole day.
Im glad I tried, at least~

HANSEL is still BLOGGING

I haven been blogging becos I dun have the urge to, and partly also cos I am waiting for people to send mi pics. I can feel myself gradually detaching from blogging. But I am still happy to be here again, afterall its my personal space (no doubt cyberly) for 2 years.

Its week 4 of sch! How time flies. And I felt like I barely learnt anyting. This sem is unusally slack for mi. HAha. Maybe the worst has yet to come.

Can u believe it?! It's like 8 mths to graduation for mi and my peers. Its not even a year. Shit. All the pressure of getting a job. blah blah blah. Getting a decent job. And I really dislike going for networking sessions in school, no doubt its useful, which is why Im still going eventually. I guess its good to know more about the industry and the various job. Afterall, I tink that the 1st job is very important. Economy is not doing well at all now =(

As usual dis week is kinda BZ. Presentation tmr. Shd be sending KX off on thurs morning. Meeting. And dearest S43 is meeting after like 10 weeks of MIA. Daryl is back and haven seen him for ages.

I really wanna get the pics soon. A blog without pics is so boringg. And its hard to sustain anyone's interest to read.

Where r the picsss!

BZ

I really have been MIA-ing for some time from blogspace. 2nd wk of sch and I am already stressed out over many matters! Okay shall brush that aside now...

Updates of events for the past week... I remembered I went KTV 4 times the past week, broken my personal record and I was so damn shagged on the last KTV session on Monday with OVE peeps. We sang 1-7pm ! I cant believed I stayed in the room for 6 hrs and when we left, there were 10 pages of unsung songs ?! Haha. About 15 people turned up. Then had Zi Char at Holland V for dinner.

I just sang my weekend away lah.

Thankfully I managed to meet up with JH briefly at J8, and finally caught Dark Knight with ZY. I wouldnt say its fantastically good but certainly, the joker steals the show from batman. It' great to meet up with Nuan at Icekimo for some sinful desserts as well =)

Finally I met up wif my Germany buddy in NTU ! I felt bad for neglecting him and treated him at food court and Im glad he's rather chatty ! I promise to have beer with him one day. Haha. Though I dislike beer. Owell. Entertaining sake. O managed to meet up wif XX in NTU as well, I can't believe I went back Hall 13 again for visiting.

Alot of readings to do. And time is passing real fast! Attending many talks soon... felt that dis SEM is gonna be really fast-paced.

And just now, went to the WSC welcome tea cos OVE has a performance. Yup we all made a short performance in LT1. Damn Paiseh and I tink we really made a fool of ourselves. But owell we still enjoy laufing at ourselves I guesss. It's probably the last time we r doing the performance together. And we had dinner in JP !

Simin going exchange dis wk to Netherlands, Kx leaving for HK soon also... exchange is really a norm now.

Gonna relax and have a good weekend after one week of tiring sch!

Sleep~

Back to School

Final year in NTU. In Nanyang Business School. I will miss campus life one year later. It has been a very busy 1st day of school for me. Went for C.Law class at 830, followed by AC205 project meeting. Met up with Sarah for interview. Oh had to pass WQ some stuff from Moo as well around noon.

Not to forget. Our Beer Laos lunch yesterday! The OVE group met up for lunch with almost all of us in Beer Laos t-shirt. It was a great turnout as 20 something turned up. Initial plan was food court, which was packed to the max during lunch. So whoever suggested the smart idea, we had lunch in the comfy and less crowded Nanyang Exec instead. It's this chinese restaurant which offers dim sum. I was rather late, lucky they got reserve one seat for me.

I had chicken congee~
It's great catching up with everyone again. Been one week since our Lao-ing days were gone. It was a relaxed session eating slowly in the comfy environment without buzz around me.

What happens after eating~ Group 2 for OVE, 6/8 are in NBS~
There were 2 tables filled btw. This is the table which I can relate to better. Haha.
All who turned up~
After the sumptuous lunch in school, the guys suggested movie so me, Kx, Kelvin and Rick headed to Vivo for Red Cliff, which is outdated now. Haha. The IN movie now is Mummy or Money No Enuff. Im shocked that we had to sit at row 2 for Red Cliff. Show was kinda draggy, no doubt that I thought the shoooting is very well done. Story is okay.

Was feeling famished after the longg show. Walked around Vivo awhile before we settled at Sushi Tei. Poor Kx has to be bugged by Rick who insisted a treat from him. I havent been to sushi tei for a longg time.

Thanx to KX for generosity to use his swenson's vouchers and so we headed for desserts after dinner plus some bitching session. I finally see the whole picture of what happens during the trip. Didnt know that some many things were going on.

4 guys sure no problem devouring Earthquake. It is my 1st Earthquake! Haha. Hard to believe I know. And there is still space for fries~
All 3 of them are B&F students except me =( I probably should have just done business instead of Accountancy which is super boring. Met up with S & V today for Klunch at Marina. It has beeennn ages since I went Kbox. It's the 1st time I sang with them.

The food is niceee. V and me had Unagi set. Oishi.
Sara sings damn well. Seriously. U surprised me. Haha. It's the 1st time I hear such a professional quality female voice from my friends. And I never heard S.H.E songs sang so well before. She shall be dubbed Selina from now onwards. And a tough song like 对的人 u also can sing.

Veren sings well too, esp Ah Mei songs.

Veren, Sara & me~Gonna sing more this weekend~

Cruel Moonlight

我一直都在流浪

可我不曾见过海洋

我以为的遗忘

原来躺在你手上

我努力微笑坚强寂寞

筑成一道围墙

也敌不过夜里

最温柔的月光

Current fav song by Yoga Lin~

Happy Bday Mozaralla Desk

It's the number 300th post ! Seriously I never thought I can survive so long blogging. Still remember it was pz who recommended the whole blogging thingy 2 years ago. Wow time flies again~

Nothing special for the 300th post. Just wanna pen some thoughts after MIA-ing for awhile.

My LAO-sy days have ended. Despite the punning, OVE LAOs 08' was great! Perhaps its because I had super low expectations for the trip such as bad accomodation, bad travel experiences, bad counterparts, that I won't make a single friend, I cant communicate wif kids etc. Im super extreme I know. And everything wasnt that bad !

Accomodation was good. Im not fussy when it comes to this cos I thought guys who been through outfields shnd't complain much about accomodations. The village stay was an eye-opening experience I swear. Pics will be uploaded later when I Kelvin passed us the disc.

Travelling experience is good too. In the first place there is nothing much to expect since Laos tourism is not famous for its under-expanded tourism industry. But I enjoy roaming the streets with fellow OVEians, doing the Laos way of life, eating the Laos street food in Vientiane. Not to mention the cave visit in Vang Vieng on our last day, the organic lunch we had (my 1st organic meal and I will never have expected it in Laos!) as well as our chilling out sessions and meals.

Through the eyes of the kids, I see what contendment is. How a sweet makes your day, how receiving a pen makes you smile, how happy the kids were when we were all there to conduct lessons and being so cheery in school. Most of the time we gestured to them, or simply just smile to keep a 'conversation' going. And when we left the last day, it became a tear-jerking session for some of the OVEians and the kids.

With my fellow OVEians, there were 33 of us in total (a very big gp) and I must confess that I did not manage to speak so much to everyone of course. There are likes and dislikes everywhere and I am no exception. But I can say that I did make the effort to engage everyone, just that I stopped to a certain person when I do not see that we can talk comfortably or simply cant click. I am really glad to know some new friends in the trip, mainly from the main comms actually. Some of them are seriously entertaining me throughout the trip. Of course hope we can all keep in touch.

I will miss the slow Laos way of life, the village stay, remember how warm people villagers are, and how language is no means a barrier to living together. I will miss the poker sessions during breaks, we are hopelessly into Bridge/Laos Dai Di that once we have 4 people the cards will appear. I miss the meals we had in Laos together and every brick we layed and sand we carried.

OVE spirit continues~
