The Nyonya Fever

Finally ended ! After all the hype, just caught the finale. I guess every good show has an ending that will leave a tinge of regret in the viewers' hearts and XNR is no exception.

I have to admit that I am only a fan of 2 actresses in MDC, one is you-all-know-who, and the other is Jeanette Aw. I am so in love with her acting in this show and in fact every drama of hers. I do not understand why people have to critisize her voice? What's wrong seriously? Can u choose the voice you want? Who doesnt want an Andy Lau or Mariah Carey voice? Does that mean just because of her voice, viewers should take the chance to discredit her acting totally?

She uses her eyes to act as the mute Juxiang, and conveyed convincingly as YueNiang. Can normal people go through 16-20 hrs of filming a day, and go through a rollarcoaster of emotions in one day and yet still portray it convincingly? I can't, but Jeanette has done it =) And I do not think anyone else in MDC can carry the kebaya so well as her.

Congrats to the success of the most highly rated drama in 15 years, and to the 3rd Ah-Jie generation !
