Looking Back --- 2008
It has been a very fast moving year.
There were ups and downs along the way.
On a poignant note, I lost some, with some friendships diluted, lost opportunities along the way...
I guess, its just difficult to sustain human relationships (every kind) as what we want it to be, or of the current state. People change, friends change and its only after a long period of time, say 5 or 10 years, when u still see these people and know that they are always for you, then only when you can probably say that these are the people who stand by you.
It probably doesn't matter how often we meet now, as eventually we will move to different transitions along the way and we cannot expect things to remain the same.
Health has not been very good in 2008, especially towards the last 2 months, plagued by food poisoning, fever, flu, sore throat etc. Boo =(((
On a positive note, I had the opportunity to travel a fair bit in 2008 and Im grateful for that. All along, I think travelling widens my horizon and trains my adaptability to different environments, climate, people, culture. It is certainly not simply the whole aspect of being touristy about the place. Really must specially thank Moo in making some of my trips memorable and homely... And to the friends I travelled with, thank you all for being part of the wonderful memories =)
And and I completed 5/6 of my dreadful ACC course. 1/6 more to go and Im on my way to corporate world. Okay it's ambiguous as to whether I should classify this as positive or negative... haha
Finally I get to go on Overseas voluntary trip, something I always want to do since I missed the chance in JC which I will never forget how I miss that chance. Anyways the whole episode of how I got into the team (referral by Jess in a casual meetup) and the experience and the friends made along the way are just so amazing...
Into 2009
Most most importantly, good health to all, especially family and friends... nothing is more important than that.
Wish to land in an ideal job in the hard times... and of course Grad Trip !!!
I wanna have a different travel experience, and travel to non-touristy spots as well...
Hopefully end the last exam in NTU with a big blast, though this is very challenging task...
Surprises and more surprises... its amazing how things you never expect to come knocking at your door... I love surprises and random opportunities =)
Last but not least, may happiness bestow on everyone =)))
