Sweet Holidays
End of Year 3 Sem 1 ! Dunno to feel happy or nostalgic. Im still happy I guess ! Stayed at home most of the time after exams to enjoy the feeling of slacking at home ! I love it, watching vids and sipping coffee...
Celebrated Yuhao's Bdae at Sushi Tei today !
Made our way to Marina Barrage after lunchh~
The latest happening in town, the marina barrage is the world's first city reservoir, and accounts for 10% of our water supply, where fresh water is housed and treated with advanced membrane technology. I think its such a perfect fit between water supply, conservation and lifestyle attraction ! Not to mention that it was also built to alleviate flooding problems in low lying areas such as Chinatown. We shd all be proud of it and our Urban planning efforts !

Happy Bday to Yuhao ! It was a great time chilling out after exams. And its fun to go outdoors!
Anw met gp 5 for dinner in the evening. It has been mths since we had a gp outing and it was great chilling out at coffeebean after the oily dinner. It so gonna be exciting again~

I think I am quite a canto-oldies fan. Although it is not apparent from my age, I have to admit I do know quite a bit of canto oldies. So I am not unfamiliar with singers such as 陈百强，许冠杰，关菊英，谭咏麟，汪明荃... Haha. 陈百强 songs are one of my favourites.
Anw 许冠杰 has this song 浪子心聲, such a classic one which many singers have sung it at their concerts.
My fav lines from the lyrics of the song:

It just tells us that there is nothing much to try to force in life, as what belong to you will ultimately be yours and so why not simply let things take its course instead of dwelling on everything... how true...
But how many people can be so carefree to practise that...

STUDY ! What is the motivation to STUDY?
Is it a upcoming holiday after exams? Is it the great sense of relief to be felt once the examiner announced time's up? Is it simply the thought that the busy semester has finally concluded? Is it all the great post exam plans? Eating, catching up with people, or simply slacking a whole day at home sleeping ?!
I just can't seem to find MY motivation sometimes. I can wake up at 10am, and simply idle till 1pm before I really get down to some work. And it doesnt help that I can find all kinds of excuses to delay the "start" of my day even by just 5 minutes.
O0 I need to get coffee first. I need to read the BT or ST first to keep myself abreast of news. I need to check out facebook, blogs first. I need to EAT first. I need my snacks first.
And after all these seemingly frivolous affairs, the routine day begins once again.
Aint' it sad? I need my old self back !

Breadtalk is intoxicating ! I dozed off shortly after eating three breads. Am I too greedy ? Haha
I am feeling rejuvenated after my usual midnight run. The feeling is amazingly good especially after being stifled at home the whole day. I am really ambivalent towards wanting to be a homely boy and seeking to breathe the air out of my house. Well I guess I just need a balance in everything and staying healthy in this heavy and sombre examination mood makes balance even more important for me.
To all exam-fighters & friends: Eat well, sleep well in the midst of studying well ! We will get there to the submit together soon =)

I am a lousy runner.
After so many years it's still such a struggle to run within 11min for 2.4km.
And I can't believe my legs literally turned jelly in just the first lap.
But I perservered, and coundown to the next 5 laps.
Thankfully I managed to hit the silver timing.
Sweet victory for myself.
I always have to work harder than others. No matter in what. That's just life =(
Hopefully at the end of everything I can press on to see the midnight sun at the other end of the world, where there is no darkness in my life, but only sunshine and hope =)
In need of motivation~
LoL. Exam mood in the air doesnt dampen my frantic search for good and yummy cakes around town ! I love cakes though it really takes a huge toll on my body. But anyway I managed to try some cakes today and yesterday !

The above cake is from Chocz ! Its very nice, there is macaroon and hazalnut inside the cake.And being a greedy boy, there is cake from Laurent Bernard as well, chocolate truffle slice. Damn nice as well.

Haha of cossss its not my Bday ! Not funny I know. It's Sis sweet 16th ! I cant remember how faraway it was when I was 16th. Haiz ! If I can I wanna be 17th forever, in JC 1. Anw jus now went to Novena to get the cake with her. Wanted to get just a slice but in the end the greedy us (Me I tink haha) got a whole cake instead. Im so easily persuaded by sales people.

At Hotpot culture. I think it's worth going. For just 9.30SGD after all the taxes, its quite value-for-money I feel as the variety exceeded my expectations of merely salted egg and porridge. Anyway despite arriving 30min later that the stipulated meeting time, my ranking of arrival is still 3/9, while the rest slowly made their way after 12pm. Haha.

The food is really not too bad. There is rice, bee hoon and of course porridge to choose from for staple.And this is my fav dish of the day - fried fish. Its those you see in fried fish Bee-hoon soup. Omg. It's heavenly. The best I ever tasted in my life. The greedy me ate like at least 20 slices of it !
