Endless Networking NightsI should be really glad the school is planning all these networking sessions and talks for us to better prepare ourselves for our IDEAL job. I feel that the first job is just too important that it's such a BIG decision in life, since it will probably map out your career path from then onwards. Right now, I envy all the scholarship holders for they arent worrying about landing a job at all. I feel ambivalent towards all these talks and sessions. No doubt I get to find out more about different industry and jobs, I am also feeling more confused after such sessions. So what's the IDEAL job? That's what I've been asking all my life probably. Isit a FAT paycheck? Well money is indeed very important I dun deny. BUT I have to at least not detest my job. At the very least. Or else it's damn miserable. I need stimulations in my job, dynamism, diversity, opportunities... HAha. Hope its a realistic expectation! Anw we went for this NTU alumni networking session at Grand Plaze Hotel a few days ago where we get to mingle with ACCountancy Alumnis casually over dinner. On our table was this Accenture guy who shared with us his consulting experiences, bad auditing experience previously at PWC... I can so imagine that I will not like auditing or any accounting related jobs! I like the informality of the dinner. Makes me feel at ease. Enjoy good food, cost fully borned by NTU. And basically just networking around. 6BFGians went + CK~
More to come~
