Never Late than Never
Went to DXO with mum last night. In case u all are wondering why, my mum is definitely not hip so obviously we are not there to drink. Haha. There was this UFM 1003 event and I was dragged to attend since she did not want to go alone. Anyway it was this famous DJ Li Mei's b'day and listeners were welcomed to attend the B'day bash (admission fees included of course).
There were some performances going on, including the highlight of the night, which was a dance between the B'day gal herself and a fellow DJ. The buffet dinner was a mad rush and shoving, which I had not experienced for very long. Managed to take a pic with Li Mei at the end of the bash~
I felt that I did not come in vain when I saw my Idol for years. I have waited at least 10 years before I get a chance to get so up-close with Thomas Ong, who is Li Mei's very good friend. My mum was the one who approached him and he really has this aloof feel such that I thought he will reject our request for picture. Still remember his Wild Orchids & Unbroken cycle with Fann =)The photo really do Thomas injustice as he is at least 10 times better looking personally~
