Tage Drei - Montreux
After Geneva I made my train way to Montreux, which is a mere 45 min away. As it is also in the French speaking region of Switz, its not surprising to hear Bonjour & Merci. Im puzzled why I didnt think of going Montreux 6 mths ago, becos there is the famous Le Château de Chillon, a famous castle often seen in Switz postkarte.
I was greeted by this very yellow Hotel and it brightens the surroundings~
Montreux is not a big city, I feel that it's more like a town where people turn to when they dun wanna go Geneva or Lausanne. But it's surely one of the beautiful towns around! A glimpse of Montreux~

I reallyyyy love the lakes in Switz. They r just so serene, clean & magnificent~
I guess its only Spring where u can see so many lovely flowers, which just adds beauty to the already breath-taking sight~

The weather was lovely, and Plebians r simply taking the chance to play around the lake~
Not forgetting the sunbathers~
Musik was in the air too... I think Europeans simply love to relax, listen to nice music and chill the day away~

Getting closer to Le Château de Chillon~
For the record, I strolled all the way from the station to Le Château de Chillon, which is superrrr farrrr. I totally under-estimated the distance, thinking that it couldnt be very far since Im able to spot it but it seems that I took forever to reach it. In the end I took slightly more than an hr when I arrived at the doorsteps of the famous castle.

Yay arrived~ Felt so accomplished cos it was at least a 5km walk. Luckily the scenery made it worth it~
The sky was contrasting~ I envision castles to be dark & creepy.
I think it's still a worth-seeing attraction~
There was a music parade that day, and many diff groups of bands were parading wif their instruments~
