Sway-ed by the night
I should sing or play Gwen Stefani 4 in the morning cos its 4am now. Just back from supper wif Nuan & Adrian. Haven felt so great for so long! I must be MAD. Haha. Anyway I had an enjoyable thursday night hanging out wif 2 old friends where I can comfortably be myself, minus Jason who fell sick (get well soon! ).
Decided to chill at Timbre. My 1st time there and glad we visited the new branch, which is much less crowded and so much cosier. The music was great; songs of Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Destiny's child etc, accompanied by yummylicious Pizza (it's damnnn nice) and I had white wine instead of beer for fear of becoming a lobster too soon.
The night was cooling, with occasional wind and I haven had such a great view of the city for such a long time.
And I realized I really prefer small group gatherings simply cos it's much easier to engage in deep conversations instead of superficial ones which I dislike (feels too much like entertaining and PR). And it's just messier with bigger groups, so I would recommend not more than six people to such a place to chill. We stayed till 1 am when it closed. Seeing that there were no more buses, I casually suggested the crazy idea of walking home to Bendemeer from Clarke Quay and surprisingly Nuan was quite supportive of the idea. So we kind of convinced the reluctant Adrian to walk too. Haha. And so began our night walk, which somehow felt damn fast, less than an hour and we reached Yassim Prata House at Bendemeer. The 2 skinny fellas grabbed a bite while the health-conscious me just had a drink. LoL. It's great chatting with u guys!
