Accepting Things
Just wanna blog briefly abt MC King departure. Yes I tink its a pity and so sudden. Everytime when such sudden news came along, people will be blogging and saying things like how fragile life is, how we ought to treasure people around us, not to take things for granted.. blah blah blah. Im very sick of all these stuff people say and wonder how long do people who said all these keep to what they say. I would think that its probably jus a few days or a wk and they will be back to their normal selves and normal lives, until another shocking news came along.
Well kinda settled down after a week. Im dead if I still say I haven. I come to realise Spore has been pretty boring all along, its either Shop, Eat, Movies, Singing. Everyting is so predictable. Okay I should not condemn my country so much. Afterall this is how I lived for 22 years.
Managed to catch up with some people so far. Yea met BFG at Crystal Jade few days ago and thank them for the belated gift which I liked a lotz =) Then I saw Nuan and Jason too for drinks the following day. Jason is still the same after studying in Aussie for few mths. And then me and Nuan sent him to Hilton Hotel for Christina's wedding. Yea my ex classmate in lower sec (though not very close) got married that day, super shocked when I heard the news. Anw I managed to catch a glimpse of her and congrat her. Jus dawn on me that everyone my age is either attached, engaged, getting married, given birth (quite rare still) and working already.
Yesterday met partial BFG briefly too where I just sang a song at Kbox and made my exit. It's the quality that counts la, so I guess one song is enuff for me. Kbox doesnt seem to excite me like how it used to. Then met Ziying awhile at Raffles City to catch up briefly. Then took MRT the 1st time since I was back to AMK to meet Xx, Daryl and Siying to get food from NTUC for our gathering at night.
The BBQ was changed to home cooked dinner due to the rain. Turnout wasnt too bad but it wasn't very enjoyable la. Hope most of my classmates dun read my blog. There isn't much to talk about to people I haven met for ages, and its hard to indulge in a good conversation with so many people around. yea we did play some drinking games which turned out to be shocking for me too. I know its the fun of the game to be honest but it was still beyond my expectations when some people can be so blatantly open in front of people whom u r not exactly close to. Just to sum it up it was a boring gathering =(
Today was pretty boring cos I got up at noon, slept for a gd 10 hrs. Then went Grandma's house to visit after so longgg. Dinner at Boon Tong Kee where I finally had my Cereal Prawns, great but too oily after awhile. Then went to Jacky Cheung's concert with mum which was terrifi on the whole. I still like the old slow songs instead of him singing those fast, hip songs, just so not his style. Some songs really touched me with the lyrics.
