Maiden SKI SwitzerLand

Planned for Skiing todaY! Whee! Lol. After 2 mths plus in Switzerland, we finally have the chance to ski. Before coming here, I have already heard of how renowned the ski resorts here are, which makes it a MUST to ski at least once here. Despite sleeping early the night before and waking up rather early (755am), we missed the 1st bus we planned to catch so had to take a later train. We reached the Ski resort, Flumsberg, at close to noon. As it was sunday, the place was damn crowded.

Sargans, a transiting station which is damn beautiful
Alright we had to take the cable car to the ski mountains. The view from the cable car as we ascend is splendid =)
Due to language barrier, 8 out of 10 people we asked could not speak proper English. Yeah we tried asking directions for renting ski gear and stuff, and tried asking people for help in seeking a ski instructor. After asking numerous people, we finally found the Ski School supervisor and he arranged an instructor for us. I was almost on the verge of exploding, so pissed that the people here dun learn their English well in school! LoL. Chill*

The weather was awesome, clear sky finally!

The Ski Resort~
It's really beautiful, the partial snowy mountains.
All set out for SKI!
Let me teach u the proper way to move forward... haha
Me, Jh & WQ had an hour of SKI lesson, basically just grappling with the basics. We had a nice instructor, who can speak good English (thankfully).
Gliding forward skilfully~
Not forgetting my poses...
My noble attempt to scale the mountain...
And Skiing downwards from the slope... balancing and maintaining my posture.
The gal's commendable effort in scaling the mountain... they really worked their way up. Haha.
And they displayed their strength & fortitude in scaling down the mountain... LoL
Ski Resort At sunset - Awesome scenery
Skiing is shag. I have forgotten how it feels like to ski as the last time I had my legs on the ski boots was about 5 years ago in Korea. And the Korea Ski resort is vastly different from the one here. It's much more beginners-designed in Korea, and the scenery is certainly not as great. From this first experience here, we really need more coaching from professionals to scale greater heights. I hope I will have another skiing chance here.
Great experience though~
