London Once More

2nd day of London we went to the London eye as we had already made online reservations for the earliest time slot at 10am. Btw we went to Ling's Thai friend's house just in front of the London eye the 1st night and his apartment is damn cool. It's like a hotel with tight security, with indoor pool and gym. And guess what? I swam at his place that night. Lol. It was damn random but yeah I like random ideas and unplanned events. Away from the digression, the London eye was cool. The panoramic view of the city was splendid. I dunno whats there to see for the one in Spore next year. Haa.

Oh I ate a Banana in the London Eye. Lame. Haha.

Where walking around the city is enjoyable.
Took a river cruise to the Tower Bridge area, where we passed London Bridge, which looks really ordinary, not like how magnificent I imagine it to be.
I like pics which arent taken from the conventional angle.
The last day we went to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of Guards. Damn crowded, could hardly see but still managed to squeezed some pics out. The guards were smart, and the bands played nice music. But sadly they arent wearing Red due to winter.
Went to Trifulgar square and saw the National gallary Museum but did not enter though. Then I also went to King's Cross station to board my train at Platform 9 3/4 as I need to attend school at Hogwarts with Harry Potter. Stare hard at the pic for 1 min and u will see me vanish into the wall. LoL.
The London Subway(tube) is very well-developed. The lines are all interlinked in some way. Im not going to complain anymore that walking from Dhoby Gaut N-S line to NEL is far. Ads are everywhere along the walk in the tube.
At peak hours, this is how squeezy it is in the train. We had to shove our way in and struggle to exit.
Oh the last day we went to this Icebar in town. I know Spore has an Eskimo bar, which I haven been to yet. But it's still quite cool when all is in ice, including the seats, bar table, cups. Everything. But not recommended to stay beyond 45 min. Now Im curious to visit the Ice Hotel in Sweden.

Our last night in London was a visit to the London Bridge area, and taking pics of the final night scene.
My food Specials
I love Macarons now! Tried the famus ones from Paul(this pastry shop which is from France) which is superB. And thanks to Ling's friend recommendation I had a taste of how delicious Ben's cookies are.
The famous duck rice. Or rather, the 19 sing per plate which broke my pocket hole. But no doubt its palatable.
Our Belgium cuisine the 1st nite, when Ling's friend brought us to eat. It was damn good, esp the Mussels(even nicer than the ones I tried in Belgium). The price is outstanding as well. faints*
Dinner the last night - Duck again. This time we tried the rivalry stall, Gold Mine. The duck taste better, the seafood hor fun I had was so-so.
More Updates for my one day tour soon!
