Paris City Sights - Day 4Time was tight. We had to cover so many places in a day as this is our only full day in the city. Went to Versailles in the morning. It is a old palace which is quite renowned. Due to time constraint, some of us did not choose to enter but just tour the exterior of the palace.
After that, we headed to Notre Dome, the famous cathedral in Paris. The exterior is really beautiful, esp the carvings.
Next, we proceeded to Eiffel as we have not seen it in the day yet. As usual, took many weird poses to entertain ourselves and probably spectators as well.
I love this jump shot, looks like me leaping towards Eiffel. Kudos to JH quick hands.
My attempt to thrash and cut the tower, but I decided not to be too cruel in the end. Haa.
Then it was shopping time! Saw the famous Arc de Trompe. 3 hrs of shopping only! Thats madness. So little time. So we were very focused and got what we wanted only, without time to see other shops.
At night, we went to Moulin Rouge. Nope not for a show inside as it really cost a bomb. I wanna see that becos of the movie. Anw I had a pic taken wif my good pal in the fast food place where we had dinner. Even our colors r the same! Haa.
After dinner, our last activity was to enjoy a night cruise along Sine River. It was nice weather, nice night scenes to take in as we embarked on this last journey in Paris.
It is amazing that I can get to see Paris at this age. Actually I wasnt mentally prepared for it cos it had always been a very far dream for me to come here. Now that Im here, I realized it falls short of my expectations, not that its not nice but somehow something is lacking for me. I suppose Im just too idealistic, living in my world of utopia.
