NOSTALGIAMy Last day of work yesterday. Can't believe I actually had mixed feelings. Working is supposed to be a tiring affair, something we dread cos it saps our energy, robs our time in the day, makes us wake up early at 7 plus to squeeze in the thronging train... Never did I expect to feel the least bit of sadness on the last day. I guess it's really the working environment. It has been not too bad, I shouldn't complain. My perception of office job has changed 180 degrees. I used to resist it and feel I can't accept such a lifestyle. It turned out not as bad as what I thought. People Who Care. How true :)My cosy Corner
I love saturdays! Esp today as the weather is gorgeous. Blue skys, nice breeze, a perfect day out in the sun. Met up with Hannie(quoted from yilynn) to go ECP for a riding session. Initially we had plans to kayak. We rode all the way to changi village, which is quite a long ride yet totally enjoyable. The endless changi coastal road coupled with the deafening airplane sound above us, the light breeze from the sea, the wind blowing in my face, the sun tannin my arms all made it an enjoyable ride, not forgetting the great riding companion. We were greeted by the delectable nasi lamak at CV, which is simply not to be missed. I love the chilli, sweet and unspicy! The chicken wing is a must-try :) After eating, we then rode back to ECP, and stopped along the way for some nice photo taking it's really rare I get to be at this side of the airport, right beside the runway. What a simple pleasure to indulge in, as I simply love seeing planes, whether taking off or touching down, esp our national carrier.
