Free DaysWhat have I been doing these days? Well enjoying the life of a jobless guy and a school drop-out. Guess this is the only time in my life where I get to experience such a feeling. It's wonderful I would say. I catched two movies recently, Perfect Stranger and Harry Potter. I dun really like the former, probably because of the actors. Harry was not bad, better than I expected. I also went for a few job interviews, which did not turn out well as my period of availability is too short. So I decided to heed some people's advice and just slack at home instead of actively looking for a job.
Met up wif XX today for lunch at Waraku, my first time at Waraku and food is not bad though I feel the green tea at sushi tei is much better. I had Chicken Teriyaki don. Oh I must compliment their great service and attentiveness to customers. It was a good catch up wif the latest gossips :) Then we went around looking at furniture as I have a plan to revamp my room just only yesterday. I planned to get a new bed and repaint my room, hopefully a portable aircon and a TV as well. I really like the IKEA design but some people said its not going to be durable, which is kinda true. And Im still racking my brain over what colors to paint. Any good suggestions from anyone? I will consider yr views seriously. Haha. My room is in a horrible mess, collecting dust everywhere, including the tweety bird which is more than 10 yrs old.
Ok while walkin in Harvey we saw this, damn Im so cheaply priced! Every sofa has a name and this was so wrongly named Desmond. Luckily I have the foresight to change my name to Max much earlier :)
After that met Jere whom I haven seen for some time. He had his lasik liao, not used to seeing him without specs. I'll go for lasik within the next 2 years. He went to shop for furniture with me also but it's wasn't fruitful cos they are all so exx, like Picket and Rail, Barang Barang all so ex. My budget is less than 500 for a suple single bed, less than 500 for a portable aircon, less than 300 for a 21 inch TV probably.
And German is hard. I have to admit my initial thought that it was copeable by learning myself is just an illusion. Sign. Gotta work harder and procrastinate less. A piece of good news is Pandas are arriving in spore this friday :) Can I have a Panda?
