Rest, all I ask for nowHohoho here I am back! I was a greenMan few days back since monday... delivered books with Jason ard Bugis area. It's a more interesting job than sales as I get to explore and know streets I did not know beforehand, got to know shops within those buildings which I would not have imagined existed at all, and of cos met all kinds of people with varying attitudes and manners when they see a delivery-boy approach their shop. I feel that the corporate offices people r most snobbish :( They really irked me, where I got to the point when I was rather rude to them, my attitude acting again. Of cos it's more physically demanding than sales, having to run ard pushing the trolley of heavy books, running along the streets perspiring, getting some degree of despise from people's eyes(it was a very unglam job), loading/unloading hundred over books from the HQ etc. Very glad that I'm not working alone, I was relieved that I was working with Jason as he's a nice 'boss', never ill treat me. Wahaha. Went to sch on tuesday and today for Vietnam meetings. Prof London has a great sense of humor. There r like 40% NBS people, 40% people from Sociology and 20% from SCI and Economics. And I must comment that the HSS people r very vocal, as compared to NBS people I tink. Got to know some people today, cos there wasn't much interaction between us on tuesday. Actually we all haven got to know everyone very well yet, guess that will happen in Vietnam when we will meet everyday and form our project gps by then. Hope my gp is fun like BFG yet more efficient. Lol. And we all thot there was a quiz today cos we were supposed to do some readings by today, which I only read before the meeting. Felt so dead and fortunately, no quiz! Hooray. Prof has not set the quiz yet he said. The itinery for the one month is so exciting! Lectures only in the morning(shdnt be more than 2 hrs), afternoons r always spent outside, we got social work to do(which I have been wanting to do in an overseas country for very long), flying from Hanoi to Ho Chin Min City in week 3, and wk 4 is basically just touring programmes. Lectures end by wk 3. Alot of excursions to places of interest and historical sites. And prof mentioned today we will be spending a nite on a boat at this bay(he didnt elaborate on the type of boat though) which he said is a very good experience as he tried it before. Tmr is a well-deserved rest day, finally got time for potatos too~
