FREEI was so inspired by XX that I went to borrow 2 chinese novels the day before. Well Im about to finish the first one soon, cos I haven really been sitting and reading the book, it's my entertainment on buses, trains etc. Okay anw on Mon I didnt meet up with some BFGians, though I kinda said Im going. Well just take it that my mood that day wasn't very good, dun wanna go and spoil everyone's mood. But still, miss ya all! Think u all had a great dinner.
On tuesday, I went to meet up with the exchange peeps at Vilage together with this Swiss guy who's there to relate his experience of living in Swiss and Europe on the whole to us. He's quite good looking I thought. Okay thats out of the point. Anw we just bombarded with watever queries we got and he's quite chatty. And ya, he wants to arrange for us to meet up with the SMU and NUS peeps going over there too. There are 3 from NUS, 4 from SMU and 5 of us from NTU. I look forward to meeting the rest. We can form a Singapore community there. Then out of a sudden, an Indian looking gal came to join us and she kissed the Swiss guy. Then it just dawned on me it's his Sporean-Indian GF I'm quite sure. What an exotic mix! Anw she's a very westernized Indian, not like those we usually see, the very typical Sporean type. And Im not belittling Sporean Indians. She's quite chatty too, saying how much she likes to travel and sharing some working experiences with us. Anw the Swiss guy kinda paid for the meal, which we didnt expect. Then they asked if we wanna join them at New Asia bar. Actually I was very keen to go but seeing that the rest aren't going, I didnt go too. It will be weird if I go alone with them and meet up with all the Swiss people. Oh well :( Alright yesterday went to meet Si for lunch. It was a late lunch. Haha. But I had a productive time in Kino also so it wasnt time wasted. We lunched at Tankichi, this Jappy place at Ngee Ann City. I actually knew about this place from a celeb's blog and I thot it looked great so decided to try it out. I heard from Daryl they specialised in cutlets. Anw their portion looks big and knowing my partner's appetite too well, we decided to share a set and order some side dishes, chawamushi and soft shell crabs. I think I'm slowly falling prey to the whole Jap culture. Anw food was nicely presented, ambience was quite cosy, staff was friendly, price reasonable for a Jap place and I tink I'm slowly getting used to drinking tea without my ice water. It seemed like it's a long time since we had a proper meal together so it's wonderful time. Gal, I dun think it's the last time we will meet this month for u never know when I will creep up. Wahahha.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder~
