Hearty Evening
Super SAD film. Super touching. I haven cried like mad since Titanic. Anw, wanted to catch it with Si at PS initially but she said it's almost sold out. I thot onbody will be keen in this film cos it's in Korean. So I suggested Tiong Bahru instead. As expected, it's more ulu there and managed to get better seats. Every minute of the show is touching. The cute dog, the boy, and her sister were so natural. How can a dog have so much emotions and act so well? The dog deserves a Best supporting role award man. The lady a few seats away from me probably used up 10 packets of tissue. As for my tears, it just went down into my eyes cos I didn't use any tissue to rub it. My eyes were itchy after the show. Si cried until her eyes reddened. I tink she used up 1 packet of tissue. I last saw this boy act in The Way Home and he has matured so much. He did remind me of Rain. They have similar eyes. Sad ending as expected. I realized a great file doesn't need to be a Hollywood blockbuster, or boost A-list actors. A good script, naturally born actors, albeit unknown are enough. A good film is one which touches my heart, thats enuff. And this show did.
After that, we went to the new mall in Clarke Quay, Central. A nice place to shop, not too crowded but just that about 30% of the shops r not open yet. Had dinner at LJS, followed by Hokkaido Ice-cream. We tried a unique flavour, Milk Tea and dark chocolate. The milk tea taste just like the drink, and the queue was quite long. Sat along the river to eat, really quite relaxing. And I realized many people near us r eating the ice-cream too. Then I saw flying objects lighted in the sky. And I stupidly commented it's UFO, like how dumb is that. Haha. If it was, then people ard us wun be so calm. We were quite intrigued by it so we traced the origin and arrived at this open field where people were flying the thing. It's a interesting discovery. It's called RC Kite, which is supposedly the 1st of its kind in Spore. Stayed there to admire it for some time before we realized many people were crowding ard that area also, amazed by the RC kites. There r so many nice dining places! I shd dine in Clarke Quay soon! And I wanna go Attica! Then I said a sentence which was very lame, couldn't believe I actually said that. Haha. Though it was lame, I feel diabetic after that. Haha. A diabetic evening indeed~
