Rare Gathering
Yesterday went out to study wif BFG at MAC. Not too bad, considering that we discussed Biz law which I thot was really quite productive and thought provoking for me. I feel that biz law is sth u gotta discuss wif ppl instead of doing alone, as different people's views can trigger u to think further beyond the text. Then started to do 3 sheets of our stuff, as some of the materials were not ard so couldn't do more of it. We didn't have dinner as some of us going home to eat & watch TV.
Today is kind of unproductive, I slept a lot, like a log, didn't even go and exercise which I intended to initially, den by right supposed to meet Ziying todae but sth cropped up for her. So I guess I will meet her next week probably. Jus now had my dinner for the 3rd time in my life at Sakae Sushi@ Atrium. I was the 2nd to reac, saw Siew Hoon waiting den not long after Mr Yap turned up. Den Shunuan & Yunli came and we went in to sit 1st. I was very surprised by the outcome, cos so many of the usual gang didn't turn up. Dunno wat happened to the rest but well, we still had a great time catching up wif Mr Yap. Hardy was a special appearance, cos I didn't know he's back in SG liao. And Chao Chi & Yee Mei too, I was surprised to see them turn up. I thot I will only get to see them like once a year during new year eve or very special occasions. I realized so many of my ex-classmates r already working liao, earning money... and me, well still stuck in NTU, and my career path is still uncertain. I dun wanna take the conventional route by joining Big 4, or get a CPA...
Actually we wanna go Mind's cafe after eating but hell, so crowded! Really need to make reservations if u wanna go there. So instead, we went to have Tou Hua at the famous stall nearby. So packed! We had to sit at the backlane, quite squeezy and there was a radio playing old 90's songs... so the feeling I got is like I'm in some Hong Kong street drinking my Tou Hua, very 80's feel... Den Jason started to ask Mr Yap about Julius Caesar, and they started to talk about Cleopatra, Mark Antony, back to old Egyptian times... and there I was, started to feel so bored that I nearly fell asleep. Haha. Suddenly had the feeling that we were back in our Sec 4 days where Mr Yap was explaining to us in class... Den took MRT home wif Jason close to midnight... Nice catching up session todae...
