Happy B'day Yi Lynn
Today morning went to meet FM group for discussion. I was surprisingly the earliest so I started doing 1st. I went to this ulu place where all of them had trouble finding. LX arrived next, den Yuhao. And BFG always spills things. Yuhao accidentally spilled the orange juice on the table but luckily it didn't dirty much stuff. Den Pz & Si dapao food for us to eat. Wah didn't expect them to take so long. Pz was learning to wear lenses before that & apparently she had much difficulties cos her eyes aren't big enuff. Haha. Anw quite an efficient day, managed to finish 90% of the work. After that, we went for BizLaw lec at 430. Thankfully, the lec ended earlier as I gotta get to Bugis by 730pm.
I went Espirit to find Wai Han as she's chossing Yilynn's present. We r forever so last min in buying pressies. Then I saw XX outside the shop, she looked stunned to see me. Den Daryl came not long after also. Okay we settled on this white wallet though I tink the red one is better. And the customer service is not bad, cos the staff offered to wrap for us. Den we went to the fountain to meet YiLynn. XX left then, saying she gotta meet her friend for dinner. Well kinda expected that so not surprised at all. Watever. Initially I planned to eat in this Jap-Western fusion place but we gotta wait for like 30min, so we decided to give it a miss. And I saw pz's Bro in bugis. Haha. Initially I dun dare to confirm it's him cos I only saw the back view but again, it's quite hard to miss him in the crowd. And I recognised the Crumpler bag he carried. Said hi to him and chatted like 2 lines before he and his friends left. Then they all said he looked so young. Haha. Ya he has a super young face which I envy. We dun really had any idea where to go next so just roamed ard. Walked to Liang Seah street but nth interesting den went to Shaw tower in Beach Rd. We contemplated to dine at a Turkish place but the menu dun look attractive. And we finally walked to Suntec as Yilynn wanna eat Xiao Long Bao.
We settled in Imperial treasure as we didn't have to wait so long. I tink whenever we wanan eat on fri nites, we just gotta make reservations or else be prepared to waste time waiting. Anw my 1st time there and it's a pleasant experience. The food is great! The Xiao Long Bao... just so succulent with the juice dripping out into yr mouth when u attempt to tear the skin apart. Gotta try it! And we ordered fried rice, wanton, pancake in red bean paste(which is damn nice though I dun like red bean). We didn't order much as we still have 2nd half, dessert!
We then proceeded from Imperial Treasure to Swenson's for Ice-Cream. We saw a big bunch of VJ juniors, looks like they having JTS(junior treat senior that is VJ's tradition) or like the last day of the 1st 3 months class. They were so noisy, that we decided to change seats to a corner. Anw I ordered my fac Cookies Summit and we shared the Fries. Den it's photo time! Im glad Yilynn is a camwhore just like me, it's hard to really be one when the people ard u are not one, as one-man show is always tougher. So im really glad she can accommodate my requests and ya, I do accomodate to her poses too. Waihan and Darly r more reserved though. Nice dessert session, I felt so satisfied.
Feeling full, we decided to walked to Esplanade, and passed though MS. Den we tried to take pics ourselves, and I thot taking 4 people by yrself is quite hard but Daryl managed to do it. And it turned out to be quite well-taken. Sat along the River at Esplanade to chill, nice starry nite. Decided to take more pics and we all took turns to aim the camera at ourselves. Quite hilarious when I failed to capture everyone at my 1st attempt. Wai Han also failed the 1st time. Haha. Then we walked to the Merlion area and took pics there too. Yilynn tried to take a pic of me drinking the water from the merlion's mouth, kept shifting my position to drink all the water in properly. Took some time to get it right and I had to tilt my head upwards. By the time it's done I guess I'm drowned already, drank too much water. Haha. Kinda late so we proceeded to take MRT back.
On hindsight, time really flies. JC days r so long ago already & we all r quite diversed now. Yilynn's graduating this coming May from Business, Wai Han is entering into her Law final year next sem, Daryl is majoring in Econs & me, in Accountancy. I just wonder how different things will be for me had I made a different choice then. Will it be better? Will my life be different now? If only I can turn time back, and chose sth else, how will it be like for me now? Thats life sadly. There's no turning back alot of times. And every choice is a gamble. U just hope to win eventually. By winning it can mean alot of different ways also. Im beginning to regret my choice now, cos I tink NTU(the sch itself + some people I see in class) kinda sux. If I can choose again, I will not come NTU. Okay enuff of my rattling. I can't undo anything now. I'm not perfect either.
