Last week of Hols~
I have not been blogging for a few days so let me recall the events these few days...
On Wed went to meet Potato,PZ & BB at Bugis to shop for something. In the end we did not get anything and ended up eating at a HK cafe. Food is okay, I guess I wouldn't go back again. Then we went citylink to try this Godiva chocolate shake which cost $8. Very rich and chocolati, highly recommended for Chocs lovers like me. We walked to Suntec, then Marina Square to continue finding things. In the end only Potato bought something. Then went home to watch PSS.
Thurs went to meet Wai Han for lunch at PS(again). We decided to catch Fast Food Nation. The film really sux, I can't think of anything nice about it. Initially I thot it will be like Supersize Me but there is not much link to the detrimental effects of Fast food at all. The closest the film gets to its theme is when they showed how cows are slaughtered, that's all. I even dozed off awhile and some dialogues are in Mexican. Not recommended for anyone. After that we went Bugis to shop awhile. I went to the same places for 2 days in a row.
Yesterday evening met up with S43 at Bugis(again). We wanted to get Daryl's overdued present but they are so fickle, esp Yilynn. Choose this watch not satisfied, then see another watch say it's nice. It's quite embarrassing in the shop where we were so fickle, take a long time choosing and making some noise. In the end we chose this Adidas watch which isn't my choice. I thot the other one is nicer. Well the girls win. Haha. Then it was dinner at Clarity's Cafe. Full house, but lucky I made a reservation. The place is only lighted with candles at every table and it was quite noisy. Food is great, price is reasonable & the meal was very filling. Siying is leaving for exchange at Sweden. Hopefully I can meet her there during the sem hols with Yilynn & whoever who is keen to join us. HOPE~
