JB Trip o6/07
What a tiring new year! On the 31st I went Sentosa early morning to meet E2s but I was late. I woke up at 925! So rushed there and luckily they all still waiting for me, so sorry everyone! Then we went for breakfast 1st, then went to buy stuff at cold storage before taking the bus in. We managed to find a good spot and an empty court to play volleyball. My skills really must improve, either hitting the ball to high all the time or cannot hit back the ball. Well I can't remember the last time I played, guessed like 1 year or 2 years ago, not like KYS who plays almost every week. Then I had to leave early afternoon to meet BFG in JB. They were there already!
Went home and took bus to JB. There's no jam luckily and met BFG at Citysquare. They all bought stuff for themselves, girls were happily shopping. Then Potato so upset for not being able to get the jumper. We then had cakes at secret recipe and had a very interesting NAMES conversation. After that, we took cabs to have dinner at a Chinese restaurant Fungus's family booked for us. That building is so ulu, no shops operating, and the restaurant is just filled with us and Fungus's family, as though they booked the whole place. Food was a 8 course meal and it was great! But ate till very full again. After eating, we took cars back to Fungus house.Her house very big, got 5 rooms and the rooms on ground floor has 2 doors. So we have to lock 2 doors when we use the toilet. Out room quite cosy la, though 3 people have to share a bed. So we flipped her old albums which dun really look like her, then watched TV and played SEGA games in her laptop. I also blogged using her comp. We managed to catch the CHN5 countdown program. Then they brought beer and drinks out. SO we started to pour drinks for everyone and count down silently in her house. Haha. Quite funny when we took the Yam Seng pic. Then after drinking 2 cups of beer I became a crab liao. The rest took turns to bathe and we started to play majong. Taught PZ and Potato some conned skills also. Haha. Then we played till like 4am before going to sleep. I didn't really sleep well cos it's abit cramp and halfway, my blanket was pulled away and I can't pull it back. Haha.
We woke up early around 9am. Washed up and get ready to leave for Tebrau City. My 2nd time there and it doesn't seem that big anymore. SO we dashed to have Papa Roti 1st and the aroma was irresistible. Every1 had one and thanks BB for the treat! But after eating much can get sick of it. Then we went Jusco to shopped and I bought some clothes. Then we just walked around, went Toys R took some silly pics, bought some shirts again before we went Flintstone's to have lunch. We waited some time for the food and the calamari they served is pathetically little, just 6 rings. BB was upset with the few rings and kept complaining. But the food is not bad. Then we went to buy doughnuts. I only managed to grab the chocolate ones cos the other flavours all snapped up by people. Wanted the vanilla frost one but to bad it's snatched by XXX. I even thot of stealing it from XXX. Haha. After that we took cab back to Fungus house.
Yuhao left 1st as he got something on. Then Potato and PZ actually went to sleep. I'm lethargic as well so I did doze off when SK and BB watching Huo Yuan Jia. When I woke up the show haven end yet. SO when it's around evening time we all walked to 竹林to have dinner, Ordered 5 dishes and food is great. I actually didn't feel very full after eating. By the time we walked back to Fungus house, it was already 8 plus and we were ready to leave. Quite舍不得actually cos it's so short and fast! One night is too short, next time we must stay longer k! So we went in 2 cabs to causeway. Then on cab PZ asked if the driver is going the right way cos the road looks unfamiliar. I said it's correct. Aiyo dun be so paranoid, I got look out for signboards constantly to make sure it's right. If it's wrong way I sure will alert u all and then I will pull the handbrake and we can all run away quickly. Haha.
Huge jam at causeway. So we walked across to Woodlands checkpoint . Then I told them to try the new machine, DIY more fun ma. Then we all took bus back. Overall it's a fun trip but too short and too near. Next time must go longer and stay longer overseas. We must plan for next sem holiday destination liao!
