Still a Nice Day
Yesterday afternoon went to meet BFG for kite flying at Marina Bay. In the end I postponed the meeting time 1 hour later but everyone was still late. haha. It's ok la, I am late occasionally too. Weather was bad, we were greeted by the rain when we reached the field. Rain was intermittant, which is worse, so we waited a while since Yuhao also haven eaten anything yet. Waited for Pz also at the same time. Finally sky was clearer & we headed towards the sea, guided by the pavement. While walking they started to try flying the kite already, well quite excited to see it fly. Seems like a good headstart. But... the flying moments were not longlast, it landed on the grass after some time. Pic as proof below.
Then after we settled down in the sheltered area, I also started trying to fly it. Not too bad for a 1st timer but then again, the kite didn't soar high long enuff. I chose not to blame our skills, but rather the poor quality of the kite we bought. Next time we just buy a very good one will do. Then can take turns cos it's quite tiring to keep stretching your neck upwards to check the progress of the kite. We then waited for LX & BB to arrive before heading to have steamboat! Wah they all took alotz of food leh, most of the time I was just watching them cook & eat. I really didn't eat much, in fact I ate mainly the cooked food. Just tried a prawn, a small piece of crab meat, less then 20g of chicken meat that's all. Ya still got Shark's fin soap. Haha. I really can't eat much!
We lingered there till the place about to close then LX send us to MRT station & headed home liao. Anw I took some pics myself and was very satisfied with the effects. It's so hard to inject mood into a picture but I'm glad I managed to do it after many attempts. Haha. My "Deep In Thots" poses below~
Today I went for Jeremiah's early Christmas lunch. Met his cell group members, then sang some carols, hear people sing & ate the food he prepared. Not too bad. After that, I went IKEA. Supposed to take bus 195 from Queenstown but I missed the bus. Not wanting to wait, I walked to IKEA from the station. Weather so hot somemore. Nvm about that. So met up with Jason & Wai Soon there. Thot they already bought what they wanted but in the end they just reached only & were eating. So walked with them around IKEA lor. So crowded still despite a new branch in Tampines. In the end they did not buy anything & then we left to go Orchard. We sat at coffeebean for drinks. I left soon after that. I just had a run not too long ago, feel very shoik... really need to work out more manz! Oh ya must thank Jeremiah for his compliments...
